BackHoss AI Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 4, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Hoss Pratt International ("Hoss Pratt International," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use Hoss AI at askhoss.ai, including the website, the web application, the AI coaching agent, and all voice and text features (together, the "Service"). It also explains the choices you have. By using the Service you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Short Version
- Hoss AI is an AI system. Your conversations with it, by voice and by text, are recorded, transcribed, and stored.
- We collect your email, a few profile details you give us (first name, market, what you work, and optionally your price band), your conversations, and basic technical information.
- We use that information to run the Service, personalize your coaching, bill you, support you, keep the Service secure, and make Hoss AI better.
- We share information only with the service providers who help us run the Service (voice and AI infrastructure, hosting and database, payments, email), when the law requires it, or if the business is sold.
- We do not sell your personal information and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
- You can access, correct, or delete your information by emailing support@hosspratt.com.
2. Information We Collect
Account information. Your email address, which is also how you sign in (we send a sign-in link to it; there is no password).
Profile information you provide. Your first name, your market (city and state), the type of business you work most (for example, expired listings, for-sale-by-owners, sphere, listings, or buyers), and, if you choose to provide it, your typical price band. We ask for these so Hoss AI can tailor its coaching to you.
Conversations. Everything you say or type to Hoss AI and everything it says back. For voice conversations, this includes the audio of your voice, a written transcript of the conversation, and the synthesized audio of Hoss AI's responses. For text conversations, this includes your messages and the responses. We keep your conversation history so you can return to it.
Payment information. When you purchase a membership, our payment processor, Stripe, collects your payment card details, billing name, and billing address directly. We receive confirmation of your payment, the last four digits and brand of your card, your billing email and name, and your subscription status. We do not receive or store your full card number.
Technical information. When you use the Service, we and our providers automatically collect information such as your IP address, browser type and version, device type and operating system, the pages and features you use, timestamps, referring URLs, and error and performance logs. We use browser storage (such as local storage and session storage) to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences. We do not currently use third-party advertising cookies or trackers.
Communications. If you email us or contact support, we keep the correspondence.
Information you should not provide. Please do not submit payment card numbers, Social Security numbers, government identification numbers, health information, or similar sensitive information to Hoss AI, and do not submit your clients' or prospects' personal information beyond what you need to get coaching. We are not set up to protect that kind of information within a coaching conversation, and you are responsible for any information you choose to submit.
3. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide the Service. Sign you in, verify that you are an approved member, run conversations with Hoss AI, generate voice and text responses, save your conversation history, and show it back to you.
- Personalize your coaching. Give Hoss AI your first name, market, focus, and price band so its answers fit your business, and let it remember what you tell it during a conversation.
- Bill you and manage your membership. Process payments, manage renewals and cancellations, prevent fraud, and handle disputes.
- Support you. Respond to your questions and requests.
- Improve the Service. Review conversations, transcripts, and usage patterns to find where Hoss AI answered poorly, add or correct material in its knowledge base, fix bugs, test changes, and develop new features. Where practical, we do this using conversation content with your name and email removed. We do not use your voice audio to build a synthetic model of your voice.
- Keep the Service secure. Detect and prevent abuse, account sharing, scraping, unauthorized voice extraction, and attacks on the Service.
- Communicate with you. Send you sign-in links, receipts, billing and account notices, updates to the Service or to these policies, and, if you have a membership, information about member benefits such as live sessions. You can opt out of non-essential emails at any time using the link in the email or by contacting us; we will still send you the notices needed to run your account.
- Comply with law and protect rights. Meet our legal obligations, enforce our Terms of Service, and protect the rights, property, and safety of Hoss Pratt International, Hoss Pratt, our members, and others.
4. Voice Data
When you use the voice feature, your microphone audio is streamed to our conversational AI provider, which transcribes it, generates a response, and synthesizes that response in a licensed digital reproduction of Hoss Pratt's voice. The audio and transcript of the conversation are stored by that provider and by us so that you can review your conversation history and so we can operate, secure, and improve the Service. By starting a voice conversation you consent to this recording and processing. If you do not want your voice recorded, use the text feature instead.
5. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We share information only as follows:
Service providers. We use third-party companies to help us run the Service, and they process information on our behalf under contracts that restrict their use of it. They currently include:
- ElevenLabs, Inc. — conversational AI, speech recognition, and voice synthesis. Processes your voice audio, transcripts, and text conversations to generate responses, and stores conversation records.
- Lovable Labs and Supabase, Inc. — application hosting, authentication (sign-in links), and the database that stores your account, profile, and conversation history.
- Stripe, Inc. — payment processing and subscription billing.
- Google LLC — web fonts loaded from Google Fonts, which may receive your IP address when fonts are loaded.
- Email delivery providers used by our hosting and authentication platform to send sign-in links and account notices.
- Large language model providers used by our conversational AI provider to generate Hoss AI's responses.
We may change providers from time to time and will update this list.
Legal requirements. We may disclose information if we believe in good faith that doing so is required by law, subpoena, court order, or governmental request, or is necessary to enforce our Terms, to protect the security or integrity of the Service, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Hoss Pratt International, Hoss Pratt, our members, or the public.
Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of all or part of our business or assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will require the recipient to honor this Privacy Policy or give you notice of any material change.
With your direction. We share information when you ask us to.
Aggregated or de-identified information. We may use and share information that no longer identifies you, such as overall usage statistics or common coaching topics, for any purpose.
6. Data Retention
We keep your account and profile information for as long as your membership is active and for a reasonable period afterward so you can rejoin without starting over. We keep your conversation history for as long as your account exists so you can return to it. After your account is deleted, we delete or de-identify your conversations within a reasonable period, except where we need to keep information to comply with law, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, or prevent fraud and abuse, and except for backups that are overwritten in the ordinary course. Our voice and AI provider may retain conversation records under its own retention schedule, which we configure to the shortest period that still lets us operate the Service. Billing records are kept as long as required by tax and accounting law.
7. Your Choices and Rights
Access, correction, and deletion. You can view and edit your profile in the Settings screen of the Service and review your conversations in My Conversations. You can request a copy of your information, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account and your conversations by emailing support@hosspratt.com from the email address on your account. We will verify your identity by confirming control of that email address and will respond within 45 days, or sooner where the law requires. Deleting your account ends your membership; fees already charged are not refunded.
Marketing emails. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in the email. We will still send you transactional and account notices.
Voice. You can use the text feature instead of voice at any time to avoid recording your voice.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. The Service does not currently respond to browser Do Not Track signals. Because we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context advertising, there is no opt-out to honor via Global Privacy Control, but we will treat a GPC signal as a request not to sell or share your information.
State privacy rights. Depending on where you live, you may have specific rights under state privacy laws, including the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended, and similar laws in other states. These may include the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use and share it, to access and obtain a copy of it, to correct it, to delete it, to opt out of the sale of personal information, of targeted advertising, and of certain profiling, and not to be discriminated against for exercising your rights. We do not sell personal information, do not engage in targeted advertising, and do not make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects based on automated profiling. To exercise any right, email support@hosspratt.com. If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our response with the word "Appeal" in the subject line, and we will respond to your appeal within the time required by law. You may also authorize an agent to make a request on your behalf; we will require proof of that authorization.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, including encryption of data in transit, access controls that limit each member to their own data, passwordless sign-in links that expire, and providers that maintain their own security programs. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we learn of a security incident that affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by law.
9. Children
The Service is for adults and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Where Your Information Is Processed
We are based in Texas, and the Service is intended for use in the United States. Your information is processed and stored in the United States and possibly in other countries where our providers operate. If you use the Service from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your location.
11. Third-Party Links
The Service may link to websites and services we do not operate, such as hosspratt.com, Stripe's checkout, or Hoss Pratt's other programs. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those sites, and we encourage you to review their policies.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make a material change, we will notify you by email to the address on your account or by a notice in the Service before the change takes effect. The "Effective date" at the top shows when the current version took effect. Your continued use of the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated policy.
